CSU Falls At UNLV For 4th Straight Loss
The CSU Rams (3-5, 1-2) lost their fourth game in a row yesterday, stumbling at UNLV (2-5, 1-1) 38-35. Special teams were a sore spot for the Rams, giving up 269 yards in returns, including one for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. CSU has a bye this week before hosting San Diego State on November 12th.

Prescribed Burn At Devil’s Backbone Open Space Today
According to the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources you can expect to see smoke coming from the Devil's Backbone Open Space today, but there's no need to call 911 as it will be the result of a prescribed burn to reduce the cover of exotic grasses, improve wildlife forage and habitat, and reduce fuel loads that could contribute to a wildfire.

After a soggy weekend that saw many areas in Northern Colorado receive up to a third of an inch of rain, it appears a week of sunshine and warmer temperatures is on the horizon. Area temps are expected to climb into the 60s on Monday, with the low to mid 70s anticipated for Tuesday with plenty of sunshine.

After what has been a nice stretch of extended summer weather, Mother Nature will be reminding Northern Coloradoans this weekend that it is indeed Fall on the calendar. Cold rain is likely on Saturday with highs struggling to reach 50. Showers will be possible again on Sunday with continued cool temps.
U.S. 34 , I-25, All Ramps Now Open
I-25, U.S. Highway 34, and all ramps at the interchange are now open following a fuel tanker truck crash, explosion, and fire last night around 9:30pm. The Colorado Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.

Wildfire Danger High To Extreme In Northern Colorado
Due to temperatures in the 90s, gusty winds, low humidity, and very dry conditions; the Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center is forecasting 'High to Extreme Fire Danger' for Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming. Extreme conditions exist in the northeast Colorado plains, with high danger forecast for the Front Range.
