The National Weather Service has cancelled the Winter Storm Warning that had been effect all day. Occasional light snow will continue early this evening, before decreasing. Additional now accumulation of 1 to 3 inches can be expected this evening, before decreasing late tonight

CSU Raises $500 Million, Hits Campaign Goal Six Months Early

Colorado State University reached it's ambitious goal of raising $500 million 6-months early. The Campaign for Colorado State achievement will be celebrated Saturday night.  Decreases in higher education have forced CSU to rely on donor support to invest in students and faculty.

More Than 600 Flights Cancelled At DIA Today

If you are planning on departing from Denver International Airport today or tonight, or expecting arriving passengers, it is highly recommended that you check with airlines first. More than 600 flights have already been cancelled at DIA. In addition, highway travel to Denver from Northern Colorado is not recommended today or tonight.

Road Conditions: CDOT Update 1:15pm

As Northern Colorado remains under a Winter Storm Warning, maintenance crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation’s northeast region of the state continue to work on full 12 hour snow shifts. Snow continues to fall throughout the region, and most highways are wet at this time with some icy and snow packed spots.

Komen Reverses Funding Cuts to Planned Parenthood

Earlier this week, the Susan G. Komen For the Cure foundation said it was cutting funds for breast cancer screenings conducted at Planned Parenthood facilities — and a remarkable firestorm of negative publicity followed.

On Friday, the nation’s largest breast-cancer advocacy agency waved the white flag and backed down.
