If you were to ask me what my favorite candy is, I would respond specifically, "Fun Size Snickers." Not Snickers, but Fun Size Snickers. Sure, you have bite size, king size, and the original Snickers bar, but none of those 'satisfy' me quite the way a Fun Size Snickers does. (And not one, but half the bag. Who can eat just one?)

My theory goes like this; while all the above have the same ingredients, they don't have the same mix. They each have caramel, peanuts, chocolate, and nougat, but the ratio of each is different. The Fun Size Snickers seems to be just right. Sure you have more of everything in the king size, but is more nougat necessarily better? (I just like saying nougat.)

I think it's the same when you're building a team. Ingredients (personalities, skill sets, experience) are important, but the right mix is critical. I believe that's why the first USA Basketball 'Dream Team' had a tough time. Too many ball-hungry super-stars. Too much nougat.

Tonight we will hand out nothing but Fun Size Snickers to trick-or-treaters at our house. It's all about me (and the big bowl of left-over candy at the end of the night).
