I've been recording video logs to track the way the Dare to Lose program is helping me.

During one such video, my dog stole the show.

As I watched the video (and as I've seen her roll around like that all the time), it made me realize that the kind of movement she was doing, the kind of feeling she was seeking, and the sensation she was going for while rolling around like that is similar to what I and the other Dare to Lose participants are going for, too.
Watch the video. See how she bends all the way backwards, making her spine into a rainbow? Can you imagine doing that? Do you ever get down on the ground and just reach as far back as you can?

She is doing that because of instinct. Something inside her has told her to stretch all the way back, as far as she can, and I think it's because she knows that if she doesn't, she won't be able to anymore.

As I've learned, our bodies present us with a move it or lose it situation. Literally, if we don't move it, we will lose it ('It' being the ability to move).
