American people are so sick of politics that Donald Trump seems refreshing in some way.

On Tuesday Vice President Biden will travel to Denver to participate in a round-table discussion at the Community College of Denver’s New Manufacturing Center.

The partial shutdown of the federal government continues as politicians bicker, and 800,000 federal employees are not allowed to work, including thousands here in Northern Colorado. A lot of us, myself included, are growing continually disheartened by our elected officials as this goes on. However, I just found out that the majority of Congress members from Colorado are forgoing their pay during the shutdown.

This morning, thousands of Larimer County workers were forced to stay home from work, as the Federal Government shut down.

Now that the smoke has somewhat cleared from the last legislative session, many county commissioners (not including Larimer county) are devising a plan to start a new state and will be asking for our votes this November.

Experience isn’t always the most important qualification for a politician. Sometimes dimples work just fine.
