If you have a Samsung Windows phone, you may want to hold off on upgrading your phone’s software.  According to MSNBC, the latest Windows Phone 7 update may cause some Samsung phones to lose all funtionality, rendering them utterly useless (or, as the techies say, ”bricked”).

The Samsung Omnia 7 and Focus are the only two phones reported to have this problem with the software update.  According to MSNBC, Microsoft is aware of the problem and is working to fix it.
