Our pets are good at tons of things, like getting stuck in jars and sneaking into pictures for awesome photobombs. They possess talents a bunch of other animals would envy. But did you know our four-legged friends are really, really good at playing dead?

Holidays always seem like a good excuse for dog owners to dress up their pets, and Independence Day is no exception. So, I took to Flickr to find some adorable dog pictures for your Fourth Of July. Check them out below.

Today is National Hug Your Cat Day. So, cat owners, make sure to give your beloved feline an extra hug this evening. I did some research on National Hug Your Cat Day and this is what I found.

A cat who goes by the descriptive name of “Meow” needs a new home. And it better be a big one because the two-year-old feline weighs 39-lbs. That’s three times what an adult cat should weigh or the equivalent to a 600-lb human.
