City of Greeley’s Water Supply Could by Threatened by Hewlett Fire
The Hewlett Fire northwest of Fort Collins has grown to approach Greeley’s Milton Seaman Reservoir. The Forest Service has evacuated city buildings, including the home of the reservoir caretakers there. The Milton Seaman Reservoir provides water for the City of Greeley and there is potential for the water supply to be affected.
More Evacuations Ordered as Hewlett Fire Spreads
The Hewlett Fire northwest of Fort Collins continues to spread and more evacuations have been ordered this afternoon.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has issued a mandatory evacuation order for 65 homes in the area of Bonner Springs Ranch Road, Deer Valley Road, Obenchain Road, Ingleside Road, and 15 homes on Highway 14 from the Greyrock Trailhead to the North Poudre diversion dam (approx. mile markers 113 to 115). All residents are asked to evacuate immediately.

Loveland Debating Over Its Own Branding and Marketing
There is some trouble brewing in the "Sweetheart City." Loveland is holding an open forum this evening for the public to share their input over the city's marketing, logo and new slogans. This week, the city received many emails complaining about the new marketing and asking for a re-do.
Kodak Moving New York Work to Windsor Location
Eastman Kodak Co. said it will close down one of it's operations in Rochester and move that work to Windsor, Colorado. Part of the Rochester photography division will cease operations in New York and that work will be moved to Kodak's location in Windsor.
Firefighters Begin to Get Some Containment on the Hewlett Fire West of Fort Collins
Firefighters are gaining some control of the Hewlett Fire burning about 20 miles northwest of Fort Collins in Poudre Canyon. The fire is estimated to be about 400 acres and has burned open timber, brush and grass. Fire crews are making some progress on the south and southeast sides of the fire.
Dog Stolen From Animal House Rescue in Fort Collins Found
Yesterday, we reported that "Titan," a dog from Animal House Rescue in Fort Collins had been stolen over the weekend. Good news! According to Animal House Rescue's Facebook page, Titan has been found today.

Hewlett Fire Burning West of Fort Collins in Poudre Canyon
There is a fire burning tin Poudre Canyon west of Fort Collins, it started about 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. The Hewlett Fire is estimated to be about 150-200 acres and is located northeast of Hewlett Gulch Trailhead, north of Highway 14 in the Poudre Canyon. Smoke is visible in and around Fort Collins, Loveland and Wellington.
