The rafting companies that service the Poudre River were told they could resume operations on Saturday after fire crews and emergency workers spent the majority of the month of June fighting the High Park Fire.

We all know we want to see what the aftermath of the High Park Fire is going to look like, a rafting trip puts you right in the midst of the canyon with views of what has happened on all sides.

Bob Klein of A Wanderlust Adventure told us about the news.

It's not as bad up there as people would think. It's still really pretty and it didn't really burn around the river's edge. It kinda burned higher up. It looks interesting too, I can't think of a better way to check the canyon out.
