I am a very lucky man, and I was a very lucky boy. My childhood was great. My parents were smart, caring and supportive.

My dad taught me many things, and I believe that the most important thing he did for me was that he encouraged me to read. Any book I ever mentioned was soon in my hands. If I mentioned a topic, he'd find a book to mirror it. He wanted me to read, read, read!

In fact, he still sends me books, articles and other bits of lit to this day.
