Adam Porter

I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and spent most of my time through high school in the state of Texas. Following that I made a big jump and moved to Laramie, Wyoming where I attended the University of Wyoming and received a degree in Marketing. I love the outdoors and often go camping, hiking, climbing and skiing. When I'm not outside I can be found tinkering around and experimenting with electronics. I'm also a huge movie buff with a huge collection that could rival a rental store (Do those still exist?). There are lots of great movies out there but none can beat Tommy Boy in my book; comedy rocks! At Townsquare Media Corporate, I work with the Live Events and Digital departments running the websites and Social Media for concerts and festivals in cities across the US.

City of Loveland Shuts Down 36 Inch Main Water Line from Treatment Plant Due to Floods

Yesterday the City of Loveland knew that they had some problems going on within the cities water system. It looks like they have now isolated part of the problem and are working quickly to ensure that the infrastructure will be easier to repair going forward.

Flooding Could Wash Out Bridges in Colorado: CDOT Currently Inspecting

The flood waters that caused the Big Thompson River and Poudre River to rise last night are causing problems with roadways and bridges in Northern Colorado. Many major arteries including I-25 have been shut down, and in the towns of Fort Collins and Loveland virtually every bridge that crosses these major rivers is now closed.

Hundreds Show Up for ‘FrackNation’ Documentary at the Rialto in Loveland

Earlier this week we told you about the FrackNation documentary showing at Loveland's Rialto Theater put on by the Loveland Energy Action Project (LEAP). Last night a few hundred people came out to view the film that aimed to prove why fracking is safe and how many of the previously publicized claims and media stories were in fact bogus.

‘FrackNation’ Documentary Plays at Loveland’s Rialto Theater

With all of the controversy over hydraulic fracturing in Northern Colorado lately, it's getting hard to ignore the issue and impeding debate. In Fort Collins a five-year moratorium on hydraulic fracturing is headed to a vote on the November ballot and there is heated discussion in other communities as well.

Mercedes-Benz Celebrates the Grand Opening of their Brand New Loveland Dealership [Pictures]

It seems that the story for Northern Colorado lately has been one of steady growth as the area comes out what was for many individuals and businesses alike has been a brutal recession. This past weekend our area saw the addition of an iconic sportsman's store with Cabelas' grand opening and last night the brand new Mercedees-Benz of Loveland celebrated its entrance to the area as well.

Greeley Car Dealerships Hard Hit by Saturday’s Hail Storm

This past Saturday's severe weather took a toll on not only a large number of Northern Colorado residents, but also local businesses. Some of the hardest hit were the car dealerships in the Greeley area that are now dealing with a nightmare of insurance claims.
