“X-Men: First Class” Adds to 2011 Summer of Hero Movies [VIDEO]

When I was a kid, I watched Saurday morning cartoons religiously, and one of my absolute favorites was X-Men.  To this day, I have awaited every single movie adaptation of the Marvel Comics franchise that has ever been done, with child-like anticipation.  The upcoming prequel X-Men: First Class is no exception.  The first trailer debuted a few days ago; and, as usual, I cannot wait to see this one.  Check out the trailer below!

James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender star as young Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, close friends who will grow into archenemies Professor X and Magneto in the impending mutant battle between good and evil.

First Class is set for a June 3rd release.  With Thor, Green Lantern,  and Captain America: The First Avenger releasing in May, June, and July (respectively), there will be no shortage of larger-than-life hero stories when the summer movie season hits.  I don't know about you, but I can't wait!
