One of Fort Collins' favorite holiday traditions is driving around the display of lights that Woodward Inc. sets up every year. However, due to construction on its Drake Campus, Woodward will temporarily be moving their Christmas village and all of the twinkling lights to the Gardens on Spring Creek this winter. The Gardens are already lit up by thousands of LED lights during the holidays, but with this new partnership, this whimsical display will also include Santa’s workshop, themed music, as well as three more holiday village structures that are usually a part of Woodward's exhibit. Instead of driving around the circular driveway, the new location allows guests to actually get out of the car and take a stroll through the illuminated Gardens. Each Friday through Sunday there will be seasonal crafts, warm drinks, and Santa Claus to visit with. Although there is no ticket cost to enter, a $5 suggested donation per adult, $2 suggested donation per child is appreciated.

The Garden of Lights is open every evening December 1, 2017 through January 7, 2018 from 5-9 p.m., including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. The Gardens on Spring Creek are located at 2145 Centre Avenue in Fort Collins.
