I was just thinking the other day that I should get a library card. I had one for the library where I grew up, and I have lots of fond library memories from that time. Then I saw this story; and being the somewhat forgetful person that I am, I'm not sure it's such a good idea anymore!
I never thought the fine for overdue items could be so severe, but apparently it can! Check out this librarian's story:
