Yesterday, as I was sharing y excitement with you over the upcoming movie Man of Steel, I realized that there are actually a lot of movies coming in 2013 that I'm excited about! So, while I don't want to bore you will every single one ('cause there are a whole lot), I thought I'd pick five more and share them with you all at once!

The Great Gatsby
Release date: May 10, 2013I read this book in high school; and I'll admit, I didn't really appreciate it at the time. But something about the artsy, 3-D way they're doing the movie makes me want to give the story another shot!

Release date: July 3, 2013Loved the first one. Bound to love the second one!

Monsters University
Release Date: June 21, 2013I've loved every Pixar movie I've ever seen. "Monsters, Inc." was always one of my favorites, and seeing those characters in their college years is bound to be hilarious!

Oz: The Great and Powerful
Release Date: March 8, 2013It's been too long since the work of L. Frank Baum was re-visited in a major motion picture. A Disney-sized special effects budget and direction by Sam Raimi are definitely putting this close to the top of my list.

Star Trek: Into Darkness
Time to let my nerd-flag fly! I've always been a huge trekkie, and I'm not afraid to admit it. From watching with my dad as a little kid, all the way up to the most recent J.J. Abrams movie, I'm always excited when new Star Trek comes over the horizon.
