When Allegiant left the Loveland/Fort Collins Airport in October of 2012, it seemed like that no other airline would come in to take its place. Low and behold, here comes Elite Airways!  They said, ‘Hey! You have a lot of folks there that want to fly to Illinois, and we’re going to help!’

A lot of folks flew on Allegiant while it was here for nine years; mostly to get to Las Vegas. Allegiant was OK; definitely not the best. I, myself remember a couple of flights were I wish would have just gone down to DIA.  Thing is, Allegiant was darned convenient. The airport is right there, just outside of Loveland.

That’s what the folks at Elite Airways saw, too.   In June of 2015, they announced they’d start flying people between the Chicago-Rockford Illinois airport, and our airport. Rockford is 80 miles from Chicago.  To me, if I’m flying to Chicago, I fly to CHICAGO, you know what I mean? I’m not renting a car to get me to Chicago after I’ve been on a plane to… Chicago. That’s just me.

However, there are a LOT of cities and towns in the Rockford area, that people from our area want to visit- our Production Director, Jeff, for one! ‘David, I need a flight out to ‘God’s Country’. Boom. That’s what they do! They just started service on August 27, 2015!

The BEST thing about these flights out to Rockford on a cool-looking, 50-passenger Bombardier CRJ200 jet? The pricing. I call it ‘out-the-door’ pricing. One price: Flight, taxes, bags, seats… $
99
‘out-the-door’ for a one-way flight to Chicago-Rockford (that price is an introductory offer.. but still- not bad!)

So, spread the word! A flight to ‘God’s Country’ is now available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, out of Loveland!
