What Happens When You Microwave a Bar of Soap?

I wish I had known about this growing up.  It would make a great experiment for a science project!

I had heard about microwaving a bar of soap before, but I had never actually seen it done.  Then I found this clip from 9News in Denver.  This is really neat!
