What Did You Think of the Super Bowl Blackout?

A little ways into the 3rd quarter of the Super Bowl, the lights in the Superdome in New Orleans failed. The game was paused, and they obviously lost the broadcast booth, because no one said anything about what was going on.

They cut to commercial and when they came back they had the sideline reporter back on the air, but not the main broadcast booth with Jim Nance. After a few minutes and one cut to James Brown live, they restored their connection, and Shannon Sharpe said Shannon Sharpe said, “I want to know who is in charge of the power bill at the Superdome.”
