In a statement from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office this afternoon the Points West Community Bank on 6th Street in Wellington has been robbed. The Sheriff's office is working with the FBI in this robbery, the suspect was caught on tape.

The suspect entered the bank at approximately 11:39 this morning. He is described as about 40 years of age standing around 6'1 with light brown hair, scruffy facial hair, no mustache, wearing a grey baseball cap and sunglasses. The photo shows the suspect holding a red backpack.

Shortly after entering the bank the suspect approached the bank teller and handed her a note demanding money. The suspect left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Investigators say that it is too early to tell whether this robbery is connected to the previous Fort Collins and Denver area robberies.
