When the moon hits your eye, in the Fort Collins Senior Center, could it be amore'?

Maybe. They've got the perfect movie for seniors from Northern Colorado, because it examines just what the seniors themselves may be experiencing when it comes to their love lives.

The film attempts to answer the questions, does the need for intimacy, and our search for love, change as we age? This, and a remarkably candid and cute cast make for an honest look at what it's like to love after 70.

Lauded by the Huffington Post as “touching and funny” and “full of vulnerability and frankness,” The Age of Love previewed at the AARP National Expo in Boston and was awarded a Fledgling Fund grant for its “potential to change American culture.”

I think this would be a great place to take your date, whether you've been with them for very long, or not. Single seniors may want to take note as well. The feeling the trailer gave me is one of hopefulness for finding love at any age.

On February 14, 2016 (Valentine’s Day) at 2:30 p.m., the Fort Collins Senior Center will be among 50 venues throughout 23 of the United States to feature a screening of the film. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Senior Center.
