TRI-102.5’s ‘Pink Up the Pace’-Agaginst Breast Cancer!

It's estimated that 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. It's with that in mind that TRI-102.5 has teamed up with The Promenade Shops at Centerra and McKee Medical Center Foundation to present 'Pink Up the Pace!'

Get your PINK on and join us Saturday, October 6th for Pink Up the Pace!  This is going to be a great day to raise awareness and to raise funds in the fight against breast cancer!  The event will take place at 9am- noon at The Promenade Shops at Centerra-

We will set up a one-mile walking route along the shops.  While you walk, you'll be able to take advantage of goodie bags and discounts at many of the participating shops.  We will also have your chance at winning a $500 shopping spree to The Promenade Shops!  100% of the proceeds from 'Pink Up the Pace' will go to McKee Medical Center Foundation and their breast cancer treatment unit.

The day will also feature entertainment, education and stories of loved-one lost and stories of breast cancer survivors.  Though over 39,000 women died in 2011 from breast cancer, by 2011 there were over 2.5 MILLION breast cancer survivors! Join in The FIGHT!
