Costco AND Trader Joe's opening in northern Colorado on the same day? It all seemed too good to be true.  Turns out, it was.

The Coloradoan reports the Fort Collins Trader Joe's in midtown won't be opening on Oct. 1 as planned.

Due to construction delays, Colorado's seventh Trader Joe's will not open until next year, store spokesman Allison Mochizuki said Monday. She declined to discuss details or narrow down the opening time frame.

Well that's frustrating!  Although, if you're waiting for the Fort Collins location to open just so you can finally buy their signature "Three Buck Chuck" wine, you might be disappointed.  Rumor is the Fort Collins location won't have an accompanying liquor store, since the Colorado Boulevard location in Denver already has one; and it's state law that a chain can only have one liquor license at a time.

Are you excited for the new Trader Joe's in Fort Collins?  Are you frustrated we'll have to wait until 2015 before it opens?
