Vestas Cutbacks

More layoffs are on the way for the wind turbine company Vestas. They have plans to lay off three percent of its North American staff. That will include 90 layoffs at its wind turbine plant in Pueblo. Vestas’ statement did not refer to staff at its three other plants in Colorado.

GOP VP Candidate in Colorado

Mitt Romney's running mate is spending time in Colorado. Last night Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan was at a $2,500-a-person reception and a $25,000-a-couple dinner.

Today he will attend an 11 a.m. rally at Lakewood High School.

Colorado 'Skinniest' State

A new government survey shows Colorado has the lowest obesity rate in the country at 21%.

The study was conducted by the Centers for Disease Control. Mississippi had the highest at 34.9 percent.
