Imagine the screams that went through theaters the weekend that Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’ premiered back in 1960.  You can re-live that excitement on Friday night in Downtown Loveland!

My mother said she didn’t use showers for years after ‘Psycho’ came out. Who can blame her? It’s one of the most iconic scenes in cinema history: When that shower curtain gets thrown back, then you see that knife, then she sreams, then the blood…  Chills!  It’s truly one of the best movies ever made, regardless of genres.

Alfred Hitchcock was a genius, and this story is brilliant: A woman embezzles money; she takes off on the lamb. Will she return the money? You never find out, because she needs to clean up, and then gets killed. By Norman. (Spoiler?) For just $8, you can see the film on the big screen once again, at The Rialto Theater in Downtown Loveland. It’s part of the Summer Cinema Series.

Bring a date. You’ll need someone’s arms to jump into!
