Rabies Discovered in 4 Animals in Larimer County

According to the Larimer County Department of Health, three skunks and one raccoon in Loveland and Masonville have tested positive for rabies over the past week. Five skunks and one raccoon tested positive for rabies in Larimer County since Jan. 1st. The raccoon was found near U.S. 287 and Eisenhower Boulevard in Loveland. The first skunk was reported Wednesday near the north end of Carter Lake. The second and third skunks were in the Masonville area.
