There hasn't been much news lately about the new stadium at CSU, but an upcoming public meeting could change that.

According to the Coloradoan, the architect and project manager for the proposed new stadium on CSU's main campus will hold a public update and "listening session" on May 12th at the Lincoln Center.

The stadium meeting is part of the Community Design Development Advisory Committee process that began in March. Plans are for a general update at 6 p.m., followed by breakout sessions with consultants working on the traffic, parking, noise and lighting studies until 8 p.m.

Since there still seems to be a solid movement against the new stadium (in favor of simply renovating the existing one), it should be interesting to see what the public has to say at this meeting.

Are you for or against a new stadium on the main CSU campus?  Let us know in the comments!
