A rally in support of Muslims is planned for Saturday in Denver's Civic Center Park.

According to the Facebook event page, the rally is "specifically showing support to our Muslim neighbors" and is one way of coming together to learn about their culture, rather than shunning them from a country that people have fled to for hundreds of years to escape hardships in their own countries.

"Make your boldest signs, prepare your loudest voices, and bring your warmest hugs," says the event page. "Our neighbors are in danger and we need to show solidarity in support. As always, this will be a peaceful, family-friendly event."

The rally will be held at the Greek Amphitheater in Civic Center Park on Saturday, February 4, from 1-4 p.m. Some flyers indicate the rally will be at the Capitol; those who show up there for the 'Protect Our Muslim Neighbors' rally will be directed to the correct location.
