Presidential Motorcade Causes Traffic Nightmare

When President Obama spoke at CSU yesterday, most people knew that if they weren't going and didn't have any urgent business around Old Town, it would be best to stay away.

This morning's traffic nightmare was unexpected.  Shortly before 9am, people started calling the studio to report a large number of police cars around the Marriot. Then we had some coming from Harmony and I25. Then Harmony and Timberline. Then Windsor and I25. It seemed the whole area was shut down as President Obama and his entourage made their way from Fort Collins to the Loveland Airport.
