Paul McCartney and Brian May are the newest celebrities to add their personal design to a teddy bear for charity.

Pudsey Bear is the mascot for the BBC's charity, Children in Need, and this bear has rubbed elbows with some of the most famous people in the world.

Many have taken their shot at designing special costumes for the cuddly mascot, and this year's rock royalty that are doing it will add their own special flair to it.

Brian May, guitarist for Queen, went scientific and astronomical on us and designed a blue pudsey that at last check was going for more than £1,500.

Paul McCartney on the other hand will be saluting his Beatles masterpiece, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by putting Pudsey in a similar outfit to the one Sir Paul wore on the cover of that seminal record.
