The Northside Skate Park in Fort Collins, CO is just another reason why it is great to be a skater. This park is on the border of Old Town, so you can have a session, then head over to the Square on your board for  a refreshment. It is on the Poudre Trail and a football kick from the Poudre River, so if everyone your unit doesn't skate, the whole crew can come down and enjoy the outdoors.

The Good

It's DIY with massive flow. The north side is just a schosche higher than the rest of the park, the south end has a nice 7 foot wall to keep momentum moving, and there is everything in between. The transitions transition and vary, allowing advanced skaters to push their limits and newbies like me to carefully roll over the edges. From a distance, the park has a relatively low profile. There isn't much over 6 feet tall, but there is still plenty of potency in this park. It's a great mix of street feel with room to carve.

The Bad

Negative. There is nothing bad. If you think it's bad, it's your attitude, not Northside.
