Officer and Bicyclist Both Cited in Accident

A Fort Collins police officer and a bicyclist have both been ticketed after a nighttime collision that sent the cyclist to a hospital back in June. Officer William Biberos was on duty and in a marked patrol car when the collision happened on June 6th at a driveway entrance to a grocery store. Biberos was cited with failing to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and Cherrelle Cruz was cited for riding a bike at night without a headlamp. The Coloradoan has more.
