Economic recovery may be a slow process; but if you work around Fort Collins or Loveland, you could be seeing some recovery in the form of a higher paycheck sooner than you think.

It looks like Colorado employers are optimistic about their projected finances in 2013, and many are planning higher salaries and additional hires in the coming year.

A new survey says employers in the Fort Collins-Loveland area are planning to give raises averaging 2.6 percent next year. Statewide, employers plan to give raises of 2.4 percent, said the Mountain States Employers Council.

So whether you're employed or not, it looks like better times could be just months away!
