Man Accused of Drunken Horseback Ride Misses Court Date
A man accused of going on a drunken horseback ride through Boulder while on his way to his brother’s wedding in Utah failed to appear at a court hearing, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Patrick Schumacher of Colorado Springs failed to appear at a hearing in Boulder on Friday.
Schumacher faces several charges, including animal cruelty and being drunk while possessing a gun. Police say Schumacher had a small pug in his backpack, as well as beer cans and a black-powder pistol in his saddlebag.
