Last weekend in Fort Collins Larimer County Sheriff's deputies did a routine business check on Alicia's Restaurant and Bar on South Link Lane when they discovered the establishment was over its occupancy. Deputies were concerned for the welfare of the patrons and requested the Poudre Fire Authority Code Enforcement Officer respond and confirm their concerns. According to a LCSO press release, the code enforcer stopped counting after 250, the occupancy code capacity for Alicia's is 160.

Patrons were funneling out into the parking lot when deputies arrived and that is when a crowd of up to 12 started violently fighting with a larger crowd around them. Deputies called out to the crowd to stop fighting when a man moved forward telling the crowd to fight the police. Dominique Artail Debow of Denver was taken into custody. Another deputy was approached by Jaishann Martis Dean, also from Denver who took on a fight stance and told him that they weren't going to arrest Debow. The deputy had to use a Taser to gain control of Dean.

No one was reported to be injured in the incident that required additional Larimer County Sheriff's deputies , Fort Collins Police Services, Colorado State Patrol and Colorado State University Police to get under control.
