Harold Ramis died yesterday.

The man who brought us movies that made us laugh so hard we cried, who brought to life some of the most interesting characters in our movie lifetime was 69.

He either wrote, acted in, directed or had some major hand in Animal House, Meatballs, Caddyshack, Stripes, Ghostbusters, Back to School, and Groundhog Day. Just one of those movies alone would be good enough for cinematic immortality.

The scene above was improvised by Bill Murray, so it wasn't written by Harold Ramis, but since he was the writer and director that made the whole movie Caddyshack possible, so in many ways he was responsible for this clip, which is one of the funniest things that ever happened in the history of history.

Gunga gunga lagunga.

Ghostbusters

There are so many funny things in Caddyshack, I had to give you more.

Animal House - Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Groundhog Day
