Women in Iceland and beyond have been posting pics of their breasts on social media.

This question's time may be here; Why can men be shirtless women can't? The #FreeTheNipple campaign isn't new. It's a movement. It was made into a film last year. Here is the film synopsis from their website.

Inspired by true events, Free The Nipple follows a group of young women who take to the streets of New York City topless, to protest the archaic censorship laws in the United States. Activist Liv and With set out to start a movement and change the system through publicity stunts and graffiti installations while armed with First Amendment lawyers. The film explores the contradictions in our media-dominated society, where acts of violence and killing are glorified, while images of a woman’s body are censored by the FCC and the MPAA. What is more obscene: Violence or a Nipple

Recently, an Icelandic 17 year old posted a pic to support the movement, and some troll trashed her. That sparked a landfall of supportive photos on Twitter. The world came to her rescue. Nipples blazing.

As with many revolutions started on social media, the posts that followed varied from the completely relevent to the totally humorous. Supporters and detractors had their say. Hot girls who love to show it off hopped on the opportunity to post pics of themselves. Activists made points. Indifferents chimed that women's breasts are really #nobigdeal. Christian moralists were outraged. All in all, almost everyone has been heard. Or at least they posted.

I have to say that I've considered this before. I can walk around anytime I want without a shirt on (which I find to be quite comfortable), but my wife and sister cannot. Even if they wanted to, they couldn't.
