Four students at Severance Middle School have been recognized as some of the best musicians in Colorado.  Not that we had any doubt that kids in our community are amazing, but this just proves it!

Eighth-graders Maria D’Rosario (tuba), Trent Dilka (euphonium), Eric Kreager (percussion) and Holli Young (clarinet) became the first students at Severance to be named to the CU Honor Band, which is on the same par as making all-state band for middle-schoolers. They were chosen as part of 115 students from across the state. Students from 40 middle schools were chosen.

I was in band in middle school (I played the saxophone), and I know how hard it is to be chosen for the CU Honor Band.  I don't even have to hear these kids play to know how amazing they are.  Way to go, guys!
