An offshoot of Little Man Ice Cream in Denver, Old Town Churn is coming to North College with a party- including a 'silent disco dance party!'

One of THE coolest things I've ever seen in Denver is Little Man Ice Cream, just off the 16th Street Mall by the South Platte River. A giant milk can with folks inside handing out scoops!

Little Man has been wanting to expand into Northern Colorado for some time. There were rumors that they would be in Loveland's The Foundry; then they were going to be on College at Oak, but their unique design was out of allowed 'sign' rules.

They've finally landed a location- in the new 'container park' - The Exchange, right behind Fort Collins Donut Company.  Behold, Old Town Churn!

Big, right? They weren't even finished yet when I snapped this photo on October 19. I expect that they'll be adding a churn to the building by the time their Grand Opening party happens on October 27.

The party will feature their traditional 'first scoop' ceremony, FREE 'little dips' (Noon-4 p.m.) a costume contest and something I'd never heard of before- a 'silent disco dance party' where everyone dancing is wearing glowing headphones to hear the music. Sounds FUN!

The party starts at Noon and goes on into the night!  Find out more about Churn and the party HERE!
