Anyone ready to celebrate a century and a half?

That's right, it's the sesquicentennial of Fort Collins. 150 years. Tag it #FC150.

A long, long time ago, Camp Collins was moved from what is now Laporte to what is now Fort Collins. This is well after some French folks 'stashed their powder' by the river for safe keeping. The area has been crawling with people for hundreds of years.

It's only been 150 that we've been calling it Fort Collins.

For this milestone anniversary, the City of Fort Collins will be (and has been) commemorating it in many ways.
