Fort Collins Holiday Lights Coming Down On Monday

This will be your last chance to enjoy the spectacle that is the holiday lights display in Old Town Fort Collins. (Maybe a romantic Valentine’s Day stroll is in order?)

According to the City of Fort Collins the lights will be on through Sunday night (Feb. 17, 2013) and will start to be taken down on Monday.

From the City of Fort Collins:

The holiday lights decorating the trees in Downtown Fort Collins will stay lit through Sunday, Feb. 17, giving visitors one more weekend to enjoy them this season.

The lights will be turned off on Feb. 18, and the light installation contractor, Swingle, will begin removing them. All lights will be removed within two weeks.

It could be a great weekend to take the lights in too! The forecast is calling for a chance of snow on Thursday, but highs in the 50's for Saturday and Sunday. Nice!
