Fort Collins Extends Smoking Ban to Electronic Cigarettes
I saw a woman blow a big puff of smoke as she was entering the grocery store.
It caught me off guard, and I know I looked perplexed. She saw my look, and said, sounding very much like Marge Schott, “Don’t worry honey, it’s electronic.”
I wasn’t worried. But I was curious. I was close enough to her to be able to smell if it was a real smoke, but I smelled nothing. Interesting.
But not interesting enough. Electronic cigarettes are being banned in Fort Collins the same way regular, smokey cigs are. They are not allowed in hotel rooms, in restaurants or bars, or anywhere else smoking is banned.
According to the Coloradoan, the ban is in effect as of July 26, 2014.
