Fort Collins Earth Day Events 2012 [INTERVIEW]

Fort Collins Earth Day events will offer a great combination of fun and information and inspiration. The concrete steps being taken by the City of Fort Collins is only rivaled by the efforts of many of the citizens who are pitching in because of their beliefs, not because of City mandates.

The City of Fort Collins seems to realize the importance of setting a good example and are teaming with Colorado State University and other area institutions to provide plenty of things for people to enjoy leading up to and on Earth Day, April 22, 2012.

I spoke with Rosemarie Russo, Sustainability Coordinator and CSU Professor about the upcoming celebrations and demonstrations, and we discusses some energy producing bicycles that the city has purchased.
