We could see a mix of beautiful and beastly weather this weekend.

There will be blue skies, but because of late spring snows, recent heavy rains all over Colorado, and the most recent flash flood warnings to come from the National Weather Service because of more rain just west of the northern (and southern, frankly) Front Range, rumbling waters may roll underneath them.

The Poudre River and other waterways nearby are at or past minor flood stage, so quick downpours in the mountains could add up to flash flooding in the towns below.

Most of the flooding and closures should only affect natural areas and other spots that are right along the rivers and waterways.
