Calling all Zombies! They are creeping, they are crawling, the zombies are hungry and they are coming! It is the Fifth Annual Old Town Zombie Fest October 25th.

This is for a great cause, benefiting Turning Point. A 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of youth and their families. The organization helps kids and their families make it through challenging times, providing them with the tools they need to overcome life’s many obstacles and ultimately to become empowered, healthy and responsible members of their communities.

There are three Zombie-Themed events that will happen on October 25, 2014.

The highlight by far for all ages is the Zombie Crawl. This is a parade of zombies that will leave the bars, restaurants and shops of Old Town creeping and crawling with the undead.

The Zombie Crawl will kickoff at 5 p.m., featuring music, contests, learning the “Thriller” dance performance by OpenStage Theatre of Rocky Horror Picture Show and the Crawl “Crawl” -starting around 6:15 pm. There are pre-sale $16 wristband available which entitle all the zombies to participate, as well as enjoy five drink, food or gift items from
50+ different businesses downtown. You can get the wristband the day of as well for $20.

If your ready to bust out your dance moves, the Zombie Ball will be kicking off at 10 p.m. at Washington's Bar in Old Town. Great music, contests and other entertainment. The Zombie King and Queen will also be crowned. This is an adult-only event and tickets are $15 (day of $18), with a combined Crawl and Ball pre-sale ticket available
for $27.

Zombie Fest will also be featuring a Kidz Krawl for the younger kids, ages 2-12. This will give your little zombie a chance to show off. Kicking off in Old Town Square at 2:00 pm, the kidz will get to krawl to five specialty stops just for them. Price is $10 and ends at 6:00 pm.
