Low-income seniors, age 60+, who live in Weld County are encouraged to sign up for monthly food boxes that are designed to be healthy and assist with the monthly food bill. Boxes will include: meat, juice, canned vegetables and fruits, shelf stable milk, rice or pasta, cereal, peanut butter or beans, and cheese.

Seniors eligible seniors will get their first food box at sign up. Applicants must bring ID, proof of income, and proof of residency to the sign up. Income guidelines: $1,276/month for 1 person, $1,726/month for household of 2, for each additional household member add $451/month. Sign up at the First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. Monthly box pick up will be at the Weld Food Bank in Greeley, or qualified applicants may request for their box to be brought to Windsor on the day the Mobile Weld County Food Bank comes to town. This opportunity is meant to supplement other monthly groceries. Clients may also take advantage of the Windsor Food Bank if they reside in the Windsor/Severance School District, and the Weld Food Bank in Greeley based on their individual rules and regulations.
