Additional Information

Loveland will celebrate its annual Colorado Children’s Day on April 25 this year, a few weeks later than in the past. Since 2002, the City of Loveland has applauded its youngest citizens with a day of fun and activities for the whole family offered at several local government facilities downtown.
Colorado Children’s Day, thanks to its founder Loveland resident Annie Hall, is officially recognized by the state legislature as the first Wednesday in March. For the first time, Loveland’s celebration has been moved to the fourth Wednesday in April to take advantage of warmer weather and longer daylight. The activities will run an hour longer, 1-5 p.m.
The day brings more than a thousand families downtown to enjoy and explore activities at the City’s public facilities. The activities are free at the library, recreation center, fire station, museum and theater.
