November is almost here, which means you may be frugal with your money to save for the holidays. But that doesn't mean you have to stay home all day!

There are plenty of opportunities in Denver and throughout the state of Colorado for you to take in some activities at a very low cost, or sometimes even free!

From the Denver Zoo to the Denver Mint, there are things going on in November throughout the state that you'll be able to enjoy without worrying about how you're going to make it to the next paycheck.

    Denver Zoo Free Admission Days

    Denver Zoo will be offering free admission to customers on three days in the month of November. You'll be able to get in for free on Friday, November 3rd, Monday, November 6th, and Thursday, November 16th. Those will be the final free days for 2017 for the Denver Zoo.

    Denver Museum of Nature and Science Free Admission

    On Monday, November 13th, you'll be able to get into the Denver Museum of Nature and Science absolutely free. Keep in mind that you will still need to pay for access to IMAX films, planetarium shows, and certain exhibitions. They will have another free day on Sunday, December 10th.

    Children's Museum of Denver

    Every month, the Children's Museum of Denver allows you to get in for free on the first Tuesday of each month from 4 - 8 p.m. Which means you'll be able to have some fun at no cost on Tuesday, November 7th. They are located at 2121 Children's Museum Drive in Denver.

    Clyfford Still Museum Free Admission

    Your kids will love the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, and they will offer you free admission ALL day on Friday, November 24th. So maybe after you are done doing some holiday shopping, you can head to the museum to relax. Only want to head there at night? They offer free admission every Friday from 5 to 8 p.m..
