CSU: Newly Ranked #1 in WHAT Sport?

Congratulations to Colorado State University! Known for their hot volleyball team, their basketball teams and of course their football team, they now have MORE bragging rights! A top-ranked team!

Which team? Which sport? You may be surprised -check it out!

CSU has GREAT sports teams. Not the least of which, is the CSU Rams Collegiate Disc Golf team! I love disc golf. I've been playing for almost 20 years- it's good exercise while being challenging. So, when I heard that the Innova and the National Collegiate Team rankings had released their latest results- with CSU ON TOP- I had to cheer about it!

From the NCDCG site:

Rankings are created from data collected from collegiate disc golf team events within the last 12 months of the end date of the latest tournament used and the last two National Championships. All teams that have competed in a NCDGC tournament are included. However, teams that have only participated in one tournament during the above stated time have been ranked below those that have participated in two or more events.

With the latest rankings (the 3rd out of 9 for the year) Colorado State came out in the #1 position!  That's awesome!
