CSU Lagoon Concert Cancelled for July 16th, 2014

Due to inclement weather in the forecast and the increased risk of lightning strikes, this week's installment in the CSU Lagoon Summer Concert series has been cancelled.

Isis DiLoreti, Event Director & Marketing Account Manager with Mantooth Marketing Company, said in an email that safety is always their top priority.

We are always concerned about potential lightning strikes and ensuring safety of attendees, even more so after the incidents that happened at Rocky Mountain National Park recently. We are also concerned about the ground being too wet for heavy stage equipment and for hosting the concert comfortably for attendees.

As of now, the rest of the concerts in the series have not been cancelled; so keep your blankets and picnic supplies ready.  We'll see you next week!
