The Colorado State University Business Department is offering a brand new scholarship to 2016 students, courtesy of Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. The chosen candidate will receive $2500 to apply towards tuition or living expenses.

CSU students who are interested in applying for the Cornerstone Home Lending Inc. Scholarship must be juniors or seniors, in the process of pursuing a degree in the College of Business, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants also need to have participated in a some sort of local community service program. The final component of applying for the scholarship includes writing an essay in which the student expresses their understanding of the current mortgage environment.

The lucky recipient will be awarded with their scholarship at a celebratory lunch, hosted by CSU in October.
